Dr. Sheperd earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston. He is a member of the American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and the Academy of General Dentistry. While he provides comprehensive general dentistry, Dr. Sheperd has a particular passion for Cosmetic Dentistry, Sleep Medicine and Implant Dentistry.
He understands every patient is unique and his approach is simple: He is here to listen to you! “My goal is to ensure you feel heard and leave our office with a plan you truly feel good about.”
Guided by his faith and a commitment to honesty and respect, Dr. Sheperd views his work as an opportunity to be a healing hand in the community, treating every patient with the dignity and care they deserve.
Dr. Sheperd’s dedication to others began long before dental school. As an Eagle Scout with a love for the outdoors, he learned the value of community service early on. He later spent two years as a missionary in Brazil, an experience that deepened his faith and left him fluent in Portuguese. His decision to pursue dentistry was solidified by his mentor and long-time friend, Dr. Scott Ballard, who showed him that a career in healthcare is the ultimate way to give back.
Moving to the Denison area has been a dream come true for his family. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Sheperd is a devoted husband and father of three. When he isn’t spending quality time with his family, you might find him watercolor painting or enjoying the Texas outdoors.
